Award winning artist Denise Calisti is an accomplished landscape artist who's work encompasses a wide variety of subject matter; everything from domestic animals to contemporary landscape painting, architectural mansions to garden fantasies - even an occasional formal portrait.

Denise graduated with a fine arts degree from Charles County Community College and continued her studies at George Washington University in Washington, D.C. through which she spent a summer painting in Brittany, France exploring the same principles of design and expression in many of the same fields and docks that the Impressionists did.

Denise has been an artist at carmen's for some time now, and we are proud to carry her pastels and original oils.
