Steve Fleming has been painting for 30 years. He teaches classes in design and composition, figure painting, and traditional painting at the Alexandria Art League School. Over the years, Steve has studied with some of this country's top instructors including Skip Lawrence, Charles Reid, Robert Wade and Robert Wood. Steve is always trying to
paint the world as he would like it to be. He paints in colors and
values that are expressive and reactive to the subject. He paints with
the authority of someone who has spent many hours outside in the elements,
painting the world around him. To become a great interpreter of light
and the landscape, Steve believes he must spend countless hours learning to
see the world better. carmen's is proud to carry several of his
