Danna Lea has done it
all! Born in the New Orleans area, she turned down an art scholarship
to travel and see the world. Always creative and sometimes naïve, she
moved to Paris, bought a see-through child's crayon box, filled it with her
creations, and set off to sell to the fashion houses there. She never
considered the fact that she might not be ready for the "big time".
Her attitude and talent paid off and she found herself designing for some of
the major fashion houses of Paris. She's lived all over the world and
been involved in some creative endeavor professionally since she left New
Orleans. Now she's back home and designing these fabulous purses,
pouches, totes and backpacks. Each piece is hand-sewn leather (elk,
cowhide and deer, to name a few) and one of a kind. Ornamentations are
Estate vintage jewelry dating back to the 1900's. |
