A new and wonderful artist....Wesley James Drake.  Even the name is artistic!  Wes is a plein air painter from Chicago whose work (literally) sells before we receive it.  The painting shown at left just arrived and is on display for the weekend. Interestingly, it's entitled "Worth the Wait"!   It is an oil painting which measures 18" x 24".   For purchase information, please give us a call at the gallery and we'll give you all the details.  We're working on a fall show date for Drake and Scott Powers.  Now that will be a great night!

william hemmerling...is a` well-respected folk artist from outside of New Orleans.  Shown here is "Dew Drop Club", one of the many giclees available at our Solomons gallery.  Hemmerling is so popular in and around his home that his paintings are extremely difficult to obtain and his dealerships are limited.  We would love for you to come into our gallery and see this unique work.  We were all moved!

Dave Wright photographs....We have framed quite a few of Dave Wright's photographs to coincide with the release of the new Solomons Island brochure.  That's because Dave's photos are featured on this very lovely publication.  Take a look at his photo (at right) and you'll certainly see why his were chosen!  Please stop in and add one to your collection!

Bill Schmidt's work now home in Solomons!

Yes, Bill has been painting some art for carmen's with a little Southern exposure.  The oil paintings shown below "Rue St. Peter" (sold) and "Dockside", were among those on display in our NOLA gallery and are now in Solomons.  They fit right in!  After being a fan of Schmidt's plein air landscapes, to see his marina series is very exciting!  Interested?  Please let us know and we'll send you a flyer on all of Schmidt's Gulf Coast and NOLA oil paintings.
