2 new artists come to carmen's
Dee Beard Dean &
Tim Kelly join our gallery
Both Dee Beard Dean
and Tim Kelly are oil painters who have signed on at carmen's and
we are thrilled.
Dee Beard Dean was in Solomons painting
a couple of weeks ago, but is now in Charleston, SC for the next few months.
She left us a collection of work that you just must see, a couple of samples of
which are shown below. We also have local scenes that Dee painted while in
our area.

Tim Kelly lives in Baltimore and is getting back into fine art
after a taking a tractor trailer driving sabbatical to care for his family. His interior vignettes
are wonderful and well loved when judged by the sale of 5 paintings in his first

David Cheifetz
MORE new art by a
magnificent young painter!
David Cheifetz has
more new
works in the gallery. Of course, there's a reason for that. We sold all but one of his others! We are so proud that Cheifetz was
named best new artist in Artist Magazine in BOTH the still life and portrait categories. Now, this is an
international award. And in the Sept. edition of Southwest Art Magazine
you'll see more about him! He's named as one of 21 new artists under
the age of 31 that are those collectors will want to start collecting
now. And, amazingly, you can find him here at
carmen's in Solomons. Aren't we proud to have been his first gallery!
Please come in and see all the new paintings that just continue to impress us.
If you would like more info or prices on Cheifetz' work, please contact
the gallery at 410.326.2549. |
