Treasures of the Flat Files
Occasionally we like to remind our customers about the beautiful unframed artwork stored in our flat files. Many of our favorite lino cuts, etchings, and silk screens as well as watercolors and large art photos reside in the sometimes-overlooked files.
If you live locally in Calvert or St. Mary's county you'll instantly recognize "The Bridge at Solomons", portrayed here by Neil Harpe in one of his many pencil and watercolor studies of Mid-Atlantic sites. An unframed print is available for purchase at the gallery.
Another wonderful find is this print of "Market Scene II" by P. Fauchere. It's a small piece, about 12 x 12, with wonderful colors and energy.
